Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of terms

By downloading or using ReelPace, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not download or use the app.

2. Description of service

ReelPace is an iOS application that allows users to overlay their Strava GPS and athletic data onto personal running videos to create and share sports reels. ReelPace is developed and operated by Jordan Santiago, individual developer based in France.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use ReelPace. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. Users under 18 should review these terms with a parent or guardian.

4. Strava integration

ReelPace integrates with the Strava API to access your athletic data. By connecting your Strava account, you authorize ReelPace to access your Strava data in accordance with Strava's API Agreement and Terms of Service.

ReelPace is an independent application. It is not developed, sponsored, endorsed, or affiliated with Strava, Inc. in any way. "Powered by Strava" indicates our use of the official Strava API only.

You can disconnect your Strava account at any time through the app settings or directly through your Strava account settings at strava.com/settings/apps.

5. User content and videos

You retain full ownership of all videos you import into ReelPace. All video processing occurs locally on your device — your videos are never uploaded to any server.

You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to use any video content you import into ReelPace. You agree not to import videos that infringe on third-party intellectual property rights.

6. Premium features and subscriptions

Some features of ReelPace require a premium subscription.

• Premium subscriptions are available as monthly or annual plans
• All purchases are processed exclusively through Apple In-App Purchase via your Apple ID
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions
• Prices are displayed in the app before purchase and may vary by region
• ReelPace does not process payment information directly — all billing is handled by Apple

7. Free tier

ReelPace offers a free tier with access to essential widgets and basic features. Free tier features are subject to change at our discretion with reasonable notice.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to use ReelPace to:

• Create or share content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, or abusive
• Infringe on any third-party intellectual property rights
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the app
• Use the app for any commercial purpose without prior written consent
• Violate Strava's Terms of Service or API Agreement

9. Intellectual property

ReelPace and all its content, features, and functionality are owned by Jordan Santiago and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without explicit written permission.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

ReelPace is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of any data provided through the Strava API.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Jordan Santiago shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use ReelPace, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to ReelPace at any time if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the app at any time. Upon termination, you may request deletion of your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via an in-app notification. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of ReelPace shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of France.
